Obituary of Terry Lynn Carefoot
Terry Lynn Carefoot passed away peacefully at her home in Moose Jaw, SK on January 2, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was the eldest of three children born to William (Bill) Tutor and Lila Anderson. She was born on June 16, 1948, in Lafleche, SK. Terry Lynn had a passion for being creative, including Navajo weaving, quilting, embroidery, rug hooking, knitting and rug braiding.
Terry Lynn was predeceased by her husband, William Carefoot, brother Lyle Tutor, father William Tutor and mother Lila (Tutor)Mitchell, survived by her stepfather Elvin Mitchell, sister Wenda Packet and Terry Lynn’s daughters, Tracey Kuffner, Paula Jackson, Jennifer Jackson, Jamie Jackson, Pamela Jackson and their families.
Terry Lynn was always up for passionate debates about politics and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. In her various careers, she always took pride in everything she accomplished. A highlight of her career was her management position with the Saskatchewan Roughriders which included the year that they won the Grey Cup in '89. In 2019, she realized a lifelong dream to travel to Ireland to visit her grandmother’s birthplace.
Terry Lynn will be missed every day but her strength continues through her family legacy. A private family service will be held at a later date.
