Obituary of Dora Topola

It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, Dora Marie Topola on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Oliver Lodge in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 90 years. Dora affectionately known as Dori was born on July 3, 1932, in Regina, SK. She was the only daughter of Michael and Eva (nee Dorosh) Panasiuk. In 1940, the family moved to the farm at Lang. Dori and her brother Harry enjoyed the farm life and went to school in Lang. On November 10, 1951, Dori married her soulmate Alex Topola. They farmed and raised their family in the community of Limerick, SK, later retiring to Assiniboia, SK.

Dora is reunited in heaven with her husband Alex Topola (2013); son Allen (infancy); son Dan (2021); parents Michael and Eva Panasiuk; brother Harry (Lila) Panasiuk. She leaves to cherish her memory, sons Michael (Leslie), Stephen, and Vince (Lianne); daughter Helen; grandchildren Erika, Kelsey (Kevin), Kendra (Sean), Dorelle (Brett), Sheldon (Melody) and Auburn, great grandchildren Jake, Cohen and Asher, Ethan, Claire,Tyler and Jessie. A Memorial Service will take place later this spring.
