Our sincere condolences to all the family. Aline was a very loving and compassionate lady, who raised a wonderful family. She will be long remembered in the community of Lafleche. We had the privilege of enjoying her and Merle’s company in Mesa Az visiting, playing bridge, and some rounds of golf. And a few times in Lafleche. Bob Ana Darlene Bussman (Lesy)

I am sad for your loss but happy for her freedom! I loved seeing your Mom in the heath center the few weeks that Mom was there. One day we sat in the common room after breakfast and I was flipping through a song book and Aline was the human piano - she didn't want to play the real one but hummed every note as we sang. Keith was hanging out that morning too. Another time Leon's grandson was roaming a bit ( as did Aline!) and she commented to me "i wonder what is going on in his little mind.." We all wondered about her thinking too! She was a favourite teacher of mine, I journeyed through girl guides with her and of course music and such at church. She suffered such loss, especially after Pat yet remained a woman of light and faith. Grateful that I had her early in my life and late in my Mom's. Much sympathy for your loss. Mariette Martineau

My sincere condolences to all the Sproule family. Aline had a beautiful heart, helped raise a beautiful family and made this world a better place in countless ways. A mother lives forever in the lives of hearts she touched.…the circle is unbroken. Amen

Our deepest condolenses to all families .Aline was a very devotted Catholic Women’s League member . For our St.Patrick’s meal ,she made the biscutes for Chicken -a-la King, theybwere verybgood . We allways had a very good turn out at these suppers . She was my grade one teacher, @ St. Mathieu Convent in LaFleche . I really loved her. I rember when I WENT TO VISIT her in the Lafleche Health Center , she had a cat on her lap , believing that it was real itsure wasn’t . It fooled us all that day. May she rest in Peace now. Your mom was such a wonderful person . I helped her in Girl guides, she guided me into reading in church and suggested I join the alto singers in the other room! Merle and Aline and their music was so loved at the club. We do miss both of them. Sincere sympathy to all the family.

Kevin, Garth, Maureen, Dave and Cathy- sincere condolences on the passing of your mom! I have very fond memories of Aline, from her taking me to the beach in the summer, to her welcoming us into your house during our ski doo and motorcycle escapades to her helping me with music and conducting choirs at school and being our accompanist. I remember her joy at the house parties as she played and sang with the gang. She was such a warm, graceful, welcoming lady who always encouraged me in whatever I was doing. May she rest in peace with Merle and Pat. ❤️

Cathy, I will always remember when Dick and I were coming back from the Wood Mountain Music Festival, and we drove around Lafleche, because you told me your Mom and Dad lived their, and we found their house! I think you described it to me! They invited us in, and we had a lovely hour of conversation with a cup of tea and some treats. I remember taking a picture when we were leaving, and I’m sure I sent it to you because you were quite surprised we met them. Your Mom and Dad were very welcoming and interesting people, once they knew, we knew you and were from a small town. My heart aches for you Cathy and your Family!
