To the Kenny Wirges family sorry to hear of your loss I have great memories of travelling with Kenny & my brother Neil on weekends home from MJ. I moved away 58 years ago & only had a chance to reconnect a couple of times over all those yeas but never hear a Johnny Horton song without thinking of him. Last time I saw him was at my brother Wally & sister in law Lea's 50th anniversary party. We had a dance & he thanked me for talking him into getting up the nerve to ask your mom to marry him. The world will be a sadder place without that lovely smile & great laugh which I always loved to hear. Jean (Meili) Goodfellow.
Ken was a thoughtful, intelligent and well read man who was respected and well liked by his community. It was a privilege to know him. Our deepest sympathies to Betty and the family.
