Leary, I have never met you but I have got to know how very special you are through someone who is very very close to you. As I learn more about you I would have been honored to have had our paths cross. As we all move on I will be on the lookout for someone with a big black cowboy hat riding a white horse. Until then, the next time I pass through Rockglen I will drop by to say hello.

Leary was a genuine people person. Lived his life in a selfless way always willing to help people out. Purposefully making time to enjoy a story a laugh share a joke a smile and a wave from his truck while driving down the street or highway. But when he asked “ How are you doing “ I believe every person that crossed his path could feel true compassion coming from his big heart. Truly an honourable man. There is a reward in Heaven for you Leary for all the random acts of kindness you did. Sadly missed by the community you served in your own unique way. Prayers and Condolences for The Mulvena Family. May the Holy Spirit put a cocoon of protection over your souls through this time of great loss and grieving of a remarkable man.

I knew Leary for over 25 years but actually never met him in person , he contacted me after he saw my post wanting to buy a Wagner 4 wd tractor . We both shared a keen interest in Wagner and Big Bud tractors , he even helped with information of potential buys , he was very knowledgeable, we had a lot of long phone conversations over the years , I tried on occasion to visit when I was in the area but he wasn’t home , what really stays in my mind was when my dad passed away on August 17 2004 and I returned from the hospital to my house , walked in the door and Leary called , his kind words and encouragement that everything would be ok and also relaying how his father passed seemed to ease the pain , the world was a better place because of Leary ,God bless him and all of us , my condolences to his family and friends, Louis Hannotte Prudhomme Sk

Carla and I were shocked at Leary's death. I attempted to help him change a flat tire on the way to Rockglen one morning not too long ago. Unfortunately my weight didn't help. On my way to town I met a Hutterite who had a service truck and told him that a man back there needed help. On my way back from town, I met Leary with round tires .He waved and had a huge smile on his face. Our condolences to Leary's family and to everyone that knew him.
