My deepest heart felt condolences to friends and family, on Richard's passing. I only knew Richard thru a shared friendship, but it was enough to guarantee a that he would not be forgotten by me, or my family. He was the best representative of a big hearted Saskatchewan farm boy who choose a career in the RCMP, to protect and serve. I will forever hold fond memories of our few encounters, as our lives crossed paths. So again heartfelt condolences to all who had the pleasure of his company.

My fondest memory of Richard is when I first moved to Lumsden and my family was coming for Thanksgiving from Manitoba. I did not have accommodations for all of them so Richard said " hey, I'm going home for Thanksgiving so here are the keys to my house to have Thanksgiving with your family". I was blown away at his kind & genuine demeanor. He will be in my heart.
