Blair, you were an absolute joy to work with. I always appreciated talking with you as your wisdom and sense of humor came through in our conversations. You always seemed to have the best "side comments" to lighten the mood while we figured out solutions to problems. Our office will not be the same without you and you will be greatly missed.

Blair, will miss having someone to discuss engineering problems sprinkled with some fun facts. I'll never forget how you generally ended our conversations, 'sometimes you just need someone to talk things through.'
Offering my condolences to all of our family and friends.

My wife and I would like to offer our condolences to Blair’s family. Blair was a great friend and wonderful colleague to a lot of former and current Focus/Wsp employees.
In early 2000s, Focus had a lot of young professionals like myself that Blair took under his wings and taught us everything he knew about storm water and sewer design. No subdivision projects around the Capital regions would be completed without Blair’s comprehensive modeling and preliminary design. Blair was so instrumental to our day to day operation, he was the cog in the wheel. He was so patient and always gave colleagues the time of day. You can tell how well liked he was by the amount of people coming into his office to talk about work or life.
Blair likes to work hard and play hard as well. He helped Focus win bronze medal in table tennis and gold in cribbage for corporate challenge and competed in many other events over the years. I missed playing ping pong with Blair during lunch and coffee breaks during my time at Focus/Wsp.
Blair loved to travel all over the world and enjoyed many wonderful experiences. I think he liked best when he goes back home to Saskatchewan to visit his family and bringing back beef to stock up his freezer lol.
Even after 20 years our group of former and current Focus/Wsp friends still meet up with Blair for lunch and drinks.
Blair, we will miss you a lot and hopefully you rest in peace in heaven.
Phi.

Oh Blair! I'll always remember you for being so helpful and patient with me when I first started out in the world of engineering. It's been a great pleasure knowing you and being ping pong partners with you at corporate challenges.
I am so sad to hear of your passing. Sending your family much love. Rest in peace my friend.

Hey Blair, we saw some interesting parts of the USA and Caribbean, drank some beers at a few sporting events and laughed at our bad humour. I will miss that for sure.

Blair, we had a lovely conversation a short time back. The office was quiet but your spirits were high and it made me smile that day. I will hold on to that memory and will remember you with great fondness.

Blair, thank you for always making time to help me with tough engineering problems. I can tell you were always very busy - but always took the time to help me understand. You were full of integrity, humour, and I can't quite believe that you're gone. If we had been keeping track of the record for the highest piles of drawings and paperwork on one's desk over the years, you would definitely had been a top contender. Thank you for the mentorship and friendship; you will have a place in my heart forever.
