Obituary of Emile LeTilly
Emile Le Tilly passed away on January 23, 2015 at Providence Place, Moose Jaw, SK at the age of 91.
Emile was predeceased by his son Kevin in 1984. He is survived by his loving wife, Marion, daughters, Lynn (Dave) Robinson, Cindy (Dale) Burnay, granddaughter Megan (Chris) Broberg, grandson Tyler (Amanda) Robinson, sisters, Helen Sundholm, Rosalie Blais, Yvonne Hoffos and brother-in-law Joe (Eleanor) Bellefleur, numerous nieces and nephews.
Emile was very active in the Parish and the community. Emile was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and was the first State Columbian Squire Chairman in Saskatchewan. Emile’s community work included serving as a volunteer fire fighter, school trustee and as a founding member of the South Country Assistance Trust fund.
Emile loved working with children and volunteered his time towards minor sports, especially coaching baseball. Emile enjoyed fishing, wood working and was passionate about baseball, especially the Toronto Blue Jays.
Emile was a partner in Tips Tire shop in Assiniboia and also worked for John Deere for many years. Emile’s dedication to his community and church were outstanding. He was recognized with both a Citizen of the Year and Knight of the Year awards
A private family funeral service was held Wednesday, January 28th in the Chateau St. Michael Chapel, Moose Jaw, SK. Celebrant was Father Jake Ibay and organist was Joe Bellefleur. Urn bearer was Marion Le Tilly.
