Cameron Norberg In this world we live in there are good men, great men and exceptional men like Cameron. I had the pleasure of knowing Cameron as he was my Dad’s best friend. He and my Dad would always being doing something together throughout the years but it wasn’t until my Dad got sick with cancer that I got to understand what he was all about. Cameron would travel from his farm in Mazenod and visit my Dad in Spanish Ontario on more than one occasion. He was a very likable man with an easy going attitude that was hard not to like. While visiting my Dad he made many friends in Ontario and was liked by all who he came in contact with. When my father became sick Cameron never hesitated for even a moment travelling down to Ontario to be by his best friend’s side. He was there for him for everything, his chemo treatments, and doctors’ appointments, helped him get around the house and helped him escape the reality that this cancer would take his life. Cameron was the best friend a person could have staying with my Dad till the day he passed. I got the call from Cameron on the day my Dad passed away, I missed seeing him by 7 days and I was relieved to know that my father had such a great friend to stop everything is his life to help him along his way. Cameron couldn’t help saying no to people who needed help and for some reason he would do what he could to make things better for them. He had a huge heart and will be missed by many. I can only take comfort in the thought that my Dad and Cameron are up there together keeping each other company, fishing, laughing and remembering old times. For all that you’ve done to make this world better I thank you Cameron and I will miss you.
