Obituary of Marc BOUVIER

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marc Laurent Joseph Bouvier of Gravelbourg, SK, on Sunday, June 2, 2013, at the age of 54 years. Marc was born on January 13, 1959, in Gravelbourg. He was the second son of Gérard and Lucille (nee Gauthier) Bouvier. Marc received his education at the Couvent Jésus-Marie in Gravelbourg. When Marc completed his schooling, he worked on the farm with his Dad. He also spent one winter working in Edmonton, AB. Marc then came back to the farm. On July 5, 1980, Marc married Vivian Cossette, and they were blessed with 5 daughters. In 1985, Marc and Vivian moved to the farm, where they had a mixed farming operation. Marc also worked off the farm as a hired hand for local farmers, and later at Trailtech in Gravelbourg. He was a devoted Roughrider fan, loved curling and enjoyed visiting with people of all ages. Marc was a loving husband and caring father who will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Marc is survived by his loving wife Vivian Bouvier (nee Cossette); daughter Julianne (Craig) Williams, grandchildren Vann, Jett, Luxx; daughter Dawn (Brian) Archer, grandchildren Brooke, Hunter; daughter Chantal Bouvier (Jimmy Labocetta); daughter Shawna Bouvier (Sheldon Palmier); daughter Lindsey Bouvier. Predeceased by his mother Lucille Bouvier-Lightbody; father Gerard Bouvier; father-in-law Roland Cossette; brother Bernard Bouvier; great nephew Derrik Seemann and great niece Tina Carrobourg. Funeral Service was held on Thursday, June 6, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption Co-Cathedral, Gravelbourg, SK, with Reverend Linda Tomlinson-Seebach officiant. Honorary pallbearers were "All those who shared in Marc’s life.” Active pallbearers were Cyril Gauthier, Henry Thomas, John Corcoran, Pete Abramyk, Marc LaRochelle, Chris Strieb, Ron Rotheisler and Victor Reed. Interment took place at the Gravelbourg Roman Catholic Cemetery, Gravelbourg, SK. Memorial donations in memory of Marc to the Marc Bouvier Memorial Fund were greatly appreciated.
