We have fond memories of Uncle Roy while visiting him at Chateaux Michael. On our last visit in May we attended the hymn sing with Uncle Roy. He so enjoyed singing all the hymns . He always made us feel special and was interested in our lives. He was a wonderful gentleman and family man. He accomplished so much in his life time, and will be missed. So sorry to hear this. I'll always remember Roy for his presence at our hockey games and practices when we were kids. Always there to help with a loose skate or an encouraging word. Rest in peace Roy.

This world has lost a remarkable man. I hope to be able to attend the service this Friday and express my condolences in person, but in the meantime, please know that the whole of the "Al Meginbir" family joins the Tollefson's in their grief. We were honoured to have known him and Fern - and his family. He will be greatly missed.

He was a very special man dedicated to the Mossbank and District Museum and was instrumental in its beginning and its growth. He was always ready with words of encouragement especially towards our many summer students - his interest and suggestions made them enjoy going to work. The entire town of Mossbank joins with us I'm sure to thank Roy for the work he did to preserve Mossbank's history.
