Obituary of Simone ALEXANDRE

Simone Alexandre (nee Le Roy) was born at Dozule, Normadie, France, on September 18, 1923, to parents Edmond and Anna (nee Lavieille) Le Roy. The was the oldest of nine children: four sisters, Madeleine, Denise, Marie, Georgette, and four brothers, Edmond, Leon, Emile and Pierre. She was raised by her dear aunt Maria. Simone married Arthur Alexandre in July, 1943, and they were blessed with six children, Lilianne, Alain, Jean, Guy, Nellie and Rene (1956). Simone came to Canada in 1948, it was a new experience on the farm but she had good friends. God helped her through the stormy winters and through a stormy life. She came to Gravelbourg in 1987, where she had some very beautiful friends and learned to play cards, different games and played bridge. It was difficult, but she had a good time and lots of fun. The best time she had was with her children, grandchildren and grandchildren. She loved them all very much, and will love them forever.
