Our sincere condolences to Phyllis and family on the untimely passage of Yogi. He was an accomplished pilot and a respected senior statesman in his chosen careers. We have many treasured memories of our shared tours at Cold Lake and Moose Jaw. His marvellous sense of humor was particularly noteworthy. Indeed at a recent Starfighter reunion Yogi remarked that while most of his colleagues were getting shorter he was getting taller. It is also impressive to note the esteem and respect that Yogi, as a four term MLA, is held by provincial government senior representatives. Rest in peace Yogi. You will be missed. My dad, himself a retired Air Force Colonel (who passed in 2002) introduced me to Mr. Huyghebaert in the VIP area at an air show in Ottawa when I was a kid back in the 90's. For a kid that had grown up around the Forces and on bases and truly loved all things flying, I remember watching the Snowbirds documentary that was made when Mr. Huyghebaert was the team lead until the VHS tape it was recorded on probably didn't work anymore. For me then it was like meeting a rock star and still remains a very fond childhood memory. I'm very sorry to hear of Mr. Huyghebaert's passing. *High Flight - John Gillespie Magee Jr.* "Oh! We are very sorry for your loss. We did not know Yogi for a long time or very well, but he helped us a lot with the organizing of the Saskatchewan Flag Tour with the Designer Anthony Drake. I am proud to have met him and glad he came with us to the Legislature and to have Tea with the Lieutenant Governor in May of 2016. You were a gift to everyone that knew you, Yogi.
