Obituary of Henri Lorenzo MONDOR

Henri Lorenzo Mondor of Willow Bunch, SK, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at the age of 89. The oldest child of six, Henri was born to Gabriel and Emelda Mondor on November 13, 1922, at the family farm near Willow Bunch. Henri received his education at Anchor School. He continued to live and work on the family farm after his parents retired. Henri and his brother Gerard farmed together in the Willow Bunch area for many years. Henri was a member of the Wheat Pool, UGG, Farmers Union and the Willow Bunch Telephone Board. He also enjoyed traveling with friends, taking trips to Australia, Cuba, Holland and Great Britain. Henri is survived by his loving family, brother Gérard; sister Noella Hard; brother Gaston (Gerturde); brother John (Terry); and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Gabriel and Emelda (nee Bruneau) Mondor; sister Florence (Ernest) Ferland; brother-in-law John Hard.
