Mrs. Smith and I were choir partners at Trinity United Church for several years and we would have a few chuckles during practices.. We also served on the church board and she made sure that things were done correctly. I really enjoyed being with her during those years. I think of her with true fondness. My thoughts are with the family.

We remember Doreen as a friendly, cheerful lady who didn’t hesitate to welcome you into her home to share a visit over a cup of tea and home baked cookies! She freely welcomed us into the community and helped us to get to know the people who lived there. Doreen was very proud of her family and didn’t hesitate to share their accomplishments with you! I’ll never forget Grandma Smith and her baking. I used to get cookies snuck to me almost every time I came to the house to meet with Wayne. She even sent pie home with me the odd time and extra cookies because she found out I’d save one to give to Amy. Had many great conversations with this wonderful lady at her kitchen table. Our deepest sympathies. Trevor and Amy Hill and family.
