Obituary of Gail Justice Doray
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gail Symes (Justice) Doray,on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, with her beloved husband by her side. Gail was born February 2, 1958, in St. Charles, Missouri, United States. She attended Northeast Missouri State University earning a Bachelor of Science in 1980, and a Master of Arts in 1985. She also completed her Gateway Training certification in 1999. For many years she taught technical writing, composition, creative writing and speech courses at local community colleges. Gail served as Project Coordinator for the Supplemental Instruction Program and tutored writing at Project Success for Penn Valley Community College. Gail enjoyed teaching and helping others to succeed in the classroom and the workplace. In 2000, she met her soulmate Richard Doray. They were married on May 21, 2004, in Arkansas. Many wonderful memories were made traveling in the United States and Canada. She loved nature and especially owls, a highlight was visiting the Saskatchewan Burrowing Owl Interpretive Centre in Moose Jaw and adopting an owl named Peanut. She enjoyed staying in touch with her friends thru Facebook, sharing her intuitive gift reading tarot cards and always giving credit where credit was due. If she received good service, she would call the manager over and praise the service. Gail will be dearly missed by her husband Richard, “I Love You the Mostest of the Mostest. To Infinity and Beyond. Mawaaah Kiss!”
Gail leaves to cherish her memory, husband Richard Doray, daughter Samantha Justice, sister Kimberly Symes, mother-in-law Faith Doray and brothers-in-law Doug Doray and James Doray.
She is predeceased by her parents Otis and Betty (Pund) Symes. Donations in Gail’s memory may be given Ovarian Cancer Canada, 205-145 Front St. E Toronto, Ontario M5A 1E3.
