I have wonderful memories of Auntie Joy. As a young boy I visited the farm many times. She was always kind, humorous and caring. She had an inclusive and friendly approach to life and the people around her. I remember one time when Uncle Loyd had had a few to many and she let him have it. He never said a word but I am sure he got the message. I know there was a real love between them and they struggled to make a better life for their 5 children. I loved being in their home and, in many ways, felt more comfortable there than in my own. To me she was a strong anchor for a wonderful family. Ross Sinclaire
