Love and Kindness
The sadness of having to say good-bye to Sheila has surfaced the great loss of no longer having Stu with us. Although it is Sheila we are remembering at this time .... for me it is almost impossible to separate the two. Although it has been nine years since Stu has gone ... they were always such a team and to me I guess I still see it that way. They worked hard together. They found lots of joys in the simple things life offers. They showed love and kindness to everyone and there is nothing they wouldn't have done for those close to their heart. I have been very blessed to be a part of their lives.
A strong heart-felt memory was receiving a call that my old horse JOE was likely dying .... he was old but Stu and Sheila had promised me his days would end among those lovely green hills at the ranch. They took turns laying beside him in the barn all through the night until he was gone.
Their love and kindness went beyond people .... truly the world has lost TWO bright lights within ONE. Rest now as the team you always were, as you will always be.
