Obituary of Beverly Auger

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Jean Auger on December 7, 2021 at the age of 75.  Bev was born on February 12, 1946 to Stanford and Dora Valness of Ormiston SK.

On July 10, 1964 Bev married the love of her life, George Auger.  Over the course of their 56-year marriage they raised 2 children, Leslie and Kelly.

Bev had a great sense of humour; she loved gardening, playing bingo, sewing, family gatherings, and camping at Shamrock Park. Bev loved to spend time with her grandchildren and she especially loved to watch her grandchildren play baseball at the campground.

Bev was noted for her cooking, especially her pies. She used this talent and worked for many years as a chef/cook. Bev also ran a successful home daycare for 15 years. She loved her children and developed a special bond with them that continued on into their adult years.

Bev was predeceased by her parents, Stanford and Dora Valness; in-laws, Edmond and Irene Auger; brothers-in-law/sisters-in-law: Barrie Erskine, Armand Auger, Donald Auger, Amie Auger, Deanna Graff and Juliette Arnold.  Bev is survived by her loving husband, George Auger; children: Leslie Auger (Paulette Larochelle) and Kelly (Tammy) Auger; siblings: Marlene Erskine, John Valness, Diane (Mel) Stephanson, Donna Valness (Kirby Forsyth), and Lynda (Ed) Schneider; brothers-in-law/sisters-in-law: Leon Auger, Germaine Yoneda, Clairella Bearss, Dale (Bert) Gaumond, Marie Hook (Cecil Berndt), Linda Miller Lamontagne and Leah Nogue; 8 grandchildren: Jennifer, Kyla, Jessica, Wade, Koalby, Jaxson, Jayne, and Stacey as well as many foster grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
