I never knew Don but over the years heard of his many accomplishments and knowing your many accomplishments, Brenda, you were meant to share your lives. Brenda- you and your family have had the wind knocked out of your sails! MY what a loss for you, your family and the rest of your community too. We have many great memories on your ranch with you both through the Wood Mountain Wagon Trek. My fondest memory is Don at the top of a hill at a gate waiting for us after we conquered the Coke al holla ... with some coke and I don;t know what on his tail gate. What a grin that man had! Our sincere sympathy to you Brenda and your family. Don was a great man and and was one of those guys that you just wanted to be around he will be missed by everyone. I really enjoyed working with Don at all the horse sales we did together.I will miss our annual visits we would have at the Borderland Bull sale. His great sense of humour , infectious laugh and kind smile will never be forgotten. My first memory of Don was a neighbor helping me. I was remodeling the kitchen in our Lost Dutchman trailer and in hooking up the sink I got vertigo. Don came over and finished the job. I will miss him in the mornings when I take my dog for a walk. He and Brenda were often outside reading the paper or a western book.

I remember his years of involvement with the Agribition rodeo committee. He will be greatly missed.
