My sincere condolences to my Godfather, Al, and to Debbie and her family.
I remember when I learned Mary was my Godmother and, together with you, Al, would be with me for my first communion. I was so very excited and proud. She was the most vivacious person I had ever met. I cannot think of a time when laughter was absent from a conversation with her. The two of you, together with your T-bird, seemed so glamorous. More importantly, you seemed like a couple to take as an example to follow.
I have so much gratitude for the visit Mary and my Dad had shortly after Mom's funeral.
In the same way I know Mom continues to keep close watch on us; Mary's stories, love and laughter are close at hand.
I am sad not to join you at graveside. Please know I am thinking of you all.
