Dear Grandpa Gill, There are so many things that remind me of you; like when I see someone playing an accordion (you were the best) or when I have a really good Caesar (you loved those) when someone calls me Cherielynn (you were the one who always called me that) I am so thankful for the memories of you. I miss you so much. You were a great man and a great grandpa. I love you.

My heart aches Dad. I miss your smile. Your sense of humor. Your zest for life even though some days were a struggle for you. I am comforted to know you are no longer suffering and you are at peace. The room seemed to get brighter when your Dad came in with his big smile. What a kind and agreeable man. He sure made a kid feel important/valuable. I always envied your nicknames -- he spoke them with such love and pride. God bless your grief with peaceful hearts.

I'm thinking of you at this sad time - a light has gone out of your lives. Your Dad was well respected and will be remembered by a lot of us . He took much pride in his family and his farm , and did a super job with both . You all did your best at taking care of him to the end . No matter where we were, Gill always made a point of saying hello and checking on how things were going. A good friend.
