Oh Edie…..I Was blessed to get to know you and Mike in the years I lived in Wood Mountain.
Edie shared a birthday with my son, Sept. 25th. She made him a blanket when he was born. Edie taught me how to plant a garden, how to make stuffing for the Fowl suppers, gluten free deserts, wash walls and countless other things. She loved everything in the community. Despite cancer treatments, She still attended the local Halloween hall party, in costume of course. I will cherish these memories forever. She was so proud of John, Brian and Angela and spoke of them so often that I felt like I knew them, yet we have barely met. My heart aches for each of you and your families. Your mom was a very special person and I am so grateful for the time I was able to spend with her.
